Jason L. Seward is the Founder & Executive Producer of Your Turn Intern Expo & CelebrityFest, the first & largest consumer show of its kind, which presents record numbers of internships benefiting college students and a culminating entertainment experience at Convention Centers around the Nation. Previously, Seward led efforts to advise President Barack Obama and the White House Office of Public Engagement on the development and implementation of non-partisan educational conferences in 15 cities that sought to bridge President Obama's vision with the needs of young Americans.
Locally, Seward has been a pioneering force to advance local government, while empowering residents to contribute to change. Seward served with distinction for almost 10 years as a Deputy to Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke, whereby he advised the Supervisor on education, economic development and special event production. As a current Commissioner representing Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti on the Innovation & Performance Commission, Seward contributes his expertise in working with the public sector & private sector to improve the responsiveness, efficiency and quality of City of Los Angeles services.
Seward holds a Bachelor's Degree (BA) from Indiana University and a Master's Degree in Public Policy, emphasizing Intergovernmental Relations, from USC. Above all, this young champion of goodwill remains humble and passionate as he continues to deliver the blueprint to reach, serve, and advance local communities and the next generation of leaders as an Entrepreneur, Commissioner, Philanthropist and most importantly, a Believer.
