Through this pilot, the City Attorney’s Claims Unit will implement an auto repair estimator program and medical procedure tracking software to aid in the accurate and efficient assessment of claims filed against the City and will will be able to survey and adjust the costs of the medical providers bills based on industry standards from the surrounding geographical locations to minimize overpayments for services as well as assist its adjustors in evaluating auto repair cases.
