The Personnel Department, Medical Services Division (MSD), Occupational Health is proposing conversion from chemical to electronic digital X-Ray production. MSD is responsible for pre-employment, work fitness, return to duty and mandated Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) exams. MSD is on track to convert all medical records to digital and it would only be fitting that they transition outdated imaging processes to a more efficient digital system.
